CBYD Senator’s Cup at Stafford Speedway

STAFFORD SPRINGS, CT, July 14, 2026 — Call Before You Dig, Inc. (CBYD) returns as title sponsor of the Senator’s Cup, the second leg of the SK Modified® Triple Crown at Stafford Speedway.. The CBYD Senator’s Cup, a 50-lap SK Modified® feature, takes place Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Stafford Springs, Connecticut track.

CBYD’s relationship with Stafford dates to 2007, when it began advertising at the speedway. Race sponsorships followed in 2012, with CBYD backing a rotating slate of events at the track in the years since, making the Senator’s Cup the latest chapter in a partnership that spans nearly two decades.

The continued sponsorship supports CBYD’s ongoing effort to bring the 811 message—the free service that connects Connecticut homeowners, contractors, and excavators with the location of underground utilities before they dig—to a broader cross-section of the state. Stafford draws SK Modified fans from across Connecticut to its weekly events, giving CBYD a platform to reach residents beyond its usual outreach channels.

“Stafford has one of the most loyal short-track followings in Connecticut, and the SK Modified Triple Crown is some of the most competitive racing in the state. Putting our name on the Senator’s Cup gets the 811 message in front of the same families, contractors, and excavators who fill those stands every week—the same people who need to call before they dig.”

— Chris Tralli, CBYD Board President

The Senator’s Cup joins CBYD’s other 2026 motorsports partnerships, including its backing of Tanner Gray and TRICON Garage in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and its season-long sponsorship of Lime Rock Park.

Tickets for the CBYD Senator’s Cup are available on the CBYD Senator’s Cup event page .
